This beautiful thermos is lined with an yixing clay interior. With no strainer this thermos is best suited for oolongs and larger leaf teas. Please note that yixing clay will absorb tea oil over time and improve with age. It is for this reason that soap should never be used to clean out your thermos. Simply rinse your thermos out with hot water and allow it to dry.
